By accessing or using TicketClear ("the Tool"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Tool. These terms apply to all visitors and users of the Tool.
2. Description of service
TicketClear is a free, browser-based tool that uses the Anthropic Claude API to analyze and rewrite IT help desk ticket text. The Tool is provided for informational and productivity purposes for IT support professionals.
3. Use of the tool
You agree to use the Tool only for lawful purposes. You must not:
Submit content that contains personally identifiable information (PII) of individuals without appropriate authorization
Submit content that is confidential, classified, or subject to non-disclosure obligations that would be violated by processing through a third-party AI API
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Tool or the underlying API
Use the Tool to generate output intended to deceive, defraud, or harm others
Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law
4. AI-generated output disclaimer
Output produced by the Tool is generated by an AI language model and is not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or appropriate for any specific situation. The Tool is intended to assist, not replace, professional IT judgment.
You are solely responsible for reviewing AI-generated output before using it in a professional context. The IT Desk AI and its operators make no warranties about the accuracy, reliability, or fitness for purpose of any output generated by the Tool.
5. Third-party services
The Tool uses the Anthropic Claude API to process your input. Text you submit to the Tool is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Your use of the Tool is also subject to Anthropic's usage policies. We are not responsible for Anthropic's data handling practices beyond what is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Intellectual property
The TicketClear interface, logo, design, and original content are the property of The IT Desk AI. You retain ownership of any text you submit. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your input text solely for the purpose of generating the requested output.
7. No warranty
The Tool is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Tool will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The IT Desk AI and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or business, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Tool, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Changes to terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the Tool after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will update the effective date at the top of this page when changes are made.

This Privacy Policy explains how TicketClear ("the Tool"), operated by The IT Desk AI, handles information when you use the Tool. We are committed to being transparent about what data flows where.
2. Information we do not collect
TicketClear does not:
Require account creation or login
Store your ticket text on our servers
Use cookies for tracking or advertising
Collect your name, email address, or IP address
Use analytics tracking scripts
3. Information sent to third-party APIs
When you click "Rewrite Ticket," the text you have entered is sent directly from your browser to the Anthropic Claude API for processing. This is necessary for the Tool to function. The text you submit travels over HTTPS and is subject to Anthropic's privacy and data retention policies.
We encourage you to review Anthropic's Privacy Policy before submitting sensitive information. Specifically:
Do not submit tickets containing full names, Social Security numbers, financial account details, or medical information
Do not submit content covered by confidentiality agreements without understanding the implications of third-party API processing
Consider anonymizing user identifiers before using the Tool in production workflows
4. Local processing
All other aspects of the Tool — the user interface, the results display, the copy-to-clipboard function — run entirely in your browser. No ticket text is stored in our databases because we do not operate a database for this Tool.
5. Browser data
Standard browser behavior may cause your browser to cache page assets (HTML, CSS, fonts). This is normal browser functionality and is not controlled by us. Ticket text you enter is held in browser memory only for the duration of your session and is not persisted to localStorage or any browser storage mechanism.
6. Children's privacy
The Tool is intended for use by IT professionals and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Tool after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
